I don’t know about you, but I belong to the school of thought that Less is More. You don’t need a mini boutique in your wardrobe; you can wear various styles while buying fewer pieces of clothing.
Great colours and fabrics are all you need for a minimalist wardrobe. This gives you the most fashion versatility, letting you wear the most fashionable outfits while getting value for your money.
Today, I’ll let you in on five (5) men’s wardrobe essentials
The Right Foot Wear
Every man should own a pair of casual shoes, a pair of dress shoes, and a good pair of boots. These shoes prepare you for anything, from casual events to dinners.
We advise keeping six or more shirts in your closet. Dress shirts typically come in a single colour or a pattern like a check or stripe. Casual shirts are entirely different, with various designs, hues, patterns, and materials. Picking out four dress shirts and two casual shirts is wise if you frequently dress casually.
Every man should own at least two pairs of jeans. You must select jeans that suit your legs and body type. Next, look for two pairs of versatile slacks. Choose khakis for a more casual look and chinos in a tan colour if you prefer something lighter and more sophisticated. Finally, having a pair of shorts in your wardrobe is always a good idea.
A man’s wardrobe should include at least two suits, blazers, or sports jackets. Pair your sports jacket with slacks or jeans for a more casual look. Blazers fall somewhere in the middle regarding being dressy and smart. Pair a blazer with dressy pants or dark-coloured jeans to create a semi-smart look. A suit is the most formal, especially in darker colours, and can be worn all year.
T-shirts & Polos
Men need at least two pieces of solid T-shirts and polos each, especially in dark colours. You can style it with different pants and, of course, the proper footwear.
