The news of this partnership was exciting to customers as it was made public during the Konga Yakata Black Friday Sales. All Verve cardholders enjoyed a 10% discount on all purchases from Friday, November 18 through December 31, 2021.
In addition, shoppers stood a chance to win any of the star prizes here by transacting at least four times during the promo period with a minimum of N5000 per purchase.
Thousands of shoppers took advantage of this quadruple transaction spree, and 34 winners emerged.
The winners got invited to the Verve reward show with Konga. This event took place at the KEZ Auditorium, Zinox Technologies, on Wednesday, March 16 2022. Winners who could not attend the event joined virtually and will have their gifts delivered to their preferred locations free of charge.
Eight customers won the Saisho blender with a Jug and a Gas stove. Another eight persons received an Infinix HD Smart Phone, while six won the Tecno Spark 7. Two customers got a 3.75KVA Generator, and two went home with a Midea Microwave.
Six Djack Home theatres went to six lucky winners and two Nexus bedside fridges to two customers.
According to Folasade Adeniji, one of the winners, “this is the first time I’m seeing something like this. When I got the email and call, I told the caller that it was a scam.”
“I have been shopping on Konga for the past three years, and the experience has been seamless. This is a good initiative from Konga and Verve. I will spread the good news and encourage people to shop on Konga,” she added.
