7 Things You Should Do This Weekend (You’ll Thank Me Later)

It’s Friday, people!

You made it through another week. I’m not sure about you, but my favourite day of the week is Friday. Weekends are for relaxing from the week’s stress and, if you live in Lagos, for regaining some sanity from the insane traffic.

This weekend, we shall be doing things differently. Something you’ll thank yourself for after you’re done. But you can also thank me.

Let’s get right into it

Exercise

Although it may seem like a lot of work, exercise is rewarding. Sweating unclogs skin pores and removes toxins from the body. Regular exercise keeps you healthy and young-looking.

Sleep

There is a great deal of stress outside. Please use this weekend to unwind from the week’s stress. The skin renews itself with collagen while you sleep. More collagen pulpifies the skin and makes it less prone to wrinkles

Enjoy a Healthy Meal

Na person wey work dey chop. You’ve worked so hard during the week; please ensure you relax and enjoy some beta meal. Cook your favourite healthy meal or enjoy one at a restaurant. Please sit down and savour the food, enjoying it as it nourishes your body.

Weekend

Listen To Music You Love

Do you have your best songs compiled into a playlist? Spend some time this weekend just listening to music that makes you feel something. Avoid doing this when handling stressful tasks like chores. Instead, schedule some time for self-care so that you can just listen to, and enjoy the music.

Drink Water

Have you been getting your daily recommended intake of water? Dehydration can cause headaches and mood swings, so drink up this weekend! If you’re worried you’ll be peeing every ten minutes, then pee all you want – you’re home. Drink water! Now!

Listen to or Watch Positive Content

Play a TED Talk about optimism or tune into a podcast about contentment. One way to improve your mood and instil positive thoughts in your brain is to receive positive professional feedback.

Shop Online

Time is too valuable, and successful people are aware of this. You don’t want to waste that time walking around the market this weekend. You can purchase everything you need on Konga.com and have it delivered hassle-free to your door.
